This where im gonna talk about the balck and white warbler
Something I learned is since this page is going to live in the "pages" folder (god i hope i can keep any semblance of roganization at allllll) i must say a href pages/name.html.so yup.
i do not have a photo of one I have taken myself. i attempt to link you to this picture of a black-and-white-warbler.
note to self: embedding a link in an image works best if the image lives in the same folder as the page itself! i must make folders for like... all the bird stuff.. all the photography stuff.. all the knitting stuff... not like folders thats just All the pages. doesnt work like that actually. good to know.
At this time in my life I was working at a farm stand about an hour to the south. I took an hour lunch so I could drive down the road one way from the stand to a small bridge over a stream with lovely birding. Or if I felt more brave I would go to the state border to a small park by a dam. I would park by the river and eat an apple and some sharp cheese for lunch like a mouse and I would birdwatch with my trusty binoculars. I was able to see a Robin's nest fairly close to the ground in the woods nearby. I've also seen a Great Blue Heron hunting here.
But the most exciting sighting I've had here was the Black-and-White Warbler, because it was the 50th bird I recorded in my Audubon app!
Here are some photos I took there with my phone. I am learning that icloud is silly and google drive is also pretty silly. I suppose I could connect my phone to the pc physically w a USB cable but uh.. well for now I don't have to do that. heic is my enemy? why must I pay $1 to change file types? also i dont know why the first one is a jpg and the second one is a jpeg. whatever.ok i still dont know why it was like that or why jpeg doesnt work but i was able to save it to my pc as a jpg and then add it to the file here on neocities and the new jpg works so its fine. also sorry about the sizes of these images i learned html but i did not progress to css i just pretty much did not use a pc again since then besides to play video games. my past life didn't give me the time or space needed for meditative website creation.
to clarify i do intend to learn css it's just not time for me to do that yet.
