I have the most cockamie pc setup right now. I live in a mildly decrepit old house that requires me to do really solutions. Well combined with the way i just am as a person. You know.
I'll start off with the best part which is the big red secondhand armchair I type from now. I got it from a lady that seemed to have known me as a child (or knew that she had been my teacher when i was a young kid so had some fondness despite not actually remembering who I specifically am. Which is the ideal scenario for me. Well I don't know what she thinks and I shouldn't claim to. It's my speculation.) She was friends with my grandmother, i think they go to church together. I don't like church but it's nice that they got to meet each other there and they can see each other regularly. My cousin drove his brother, myself and my grandmother to this lady's house to get some new old furniture for me. My house was very empty after all. And quite big with just me in it. This lady's house was also quite big with just her in it except it was completely filled to the brim with STUFF. Clean stuff. Beautiful stuff. Just so much stuff. Her husband had died and he collected a lot of stuff and had built the house. Which was beautiful and huge with various featues I was jealous of that I do not remember now. He collected fake ducks, metal lunchboxes, instruments,figurines, and oil lamps. So many oil lamps. I got a big ancient seeming red velvet couch that is very uncomfortable because it thinks your butt is very small and also that you are sitting up straight. But it is so beautiful and I rarely have guests anyway. I got this lovely red armchair to match. I got two shelves. My cousin also gave me a perfect sized beige loveseat. i wasnot initially crazy about the colors, kinda unsure but I got also two braided rugs one is red and black and the other is more multicolor but mostly blueish. And the red rug ties it together so nicely. The wallpaper is white with small dark maroon roses and dark green leaves and it also has some tiny silver foil accents. It's always been one of my favorite things about this house. My grandmother put it up when she was pregnant with my mother. So it actually works out perfect and the beige is just fine bc theres so much big red stuff in here that its nice to have one thats just a nice neutral color. But I do have a crazy stripe croehct blanket hanging on the back anyway.
The other big thing in my living room is the dark wood upright piano that my great grandfather bought for my grandmother when she was a kid. It is obviously very old and very out of tune. It has never been in tune in my memory. It's probably very expensive to get somebody to tune it, and either way someone would have to come into my house. So it has been said anyway. This piano, while beautiful and cherished, is pretty much immovable and has served as a beautiful giant decoration for as long as I can remember. I did play on it enough to prompt my mom to buy me an electric keyboard.Well this piano serves currently as a tv stand as well as my computer desk. So my mouse stays on a old magazine on the piano itself and I sit back in the chair with a lap desk and the keyboard up on that. Let me tell you this is the best chair i have access to and boy is it a treat!! And I'm really not being sarcastic about that. My bed and the chair I sit in at work are very uncomfortable for sitting in long term which unfortunately I do all the time so this is a lovely change. I will get a better desk setup eventually. My house is in great disarray and I am suffering some kind of illness or something and I am only able to make very slow progress. So I am making up for it by doing silly solutions for now. Because access to my pc is really nice and it's worth it. My office is currently unfit for use so I snaked a 40ft ethernet cable all around the office and living room edges so my pc could be out here instead.
So that's my cockamamie pc setup.
My original intention for this page when I created it was to document all the CDs I have but as you can see I got sidetracked. Well It's my website so you have to suffer my brain with me. You're lucky because you get to press x if you don't like it. I'm stuck with me.
Today I will learn the magic of making a box using html and CSS. I could even put something inside the box. Amazing! Computers are so beautiful.
It seems as though I will have to play in CSS land to make the text within the box look different...
Most of these DVDs I just still have from childhood but I have started collecting them recently. I go to Bull Moose with my girl and we find our favorite movies and she looks for rare cards in kpop albums. People are surprisingly respectul of the cards and they are usually not stolen. Bull Moose has lots of stuff that I like. I also got a sick grass green cd holder for my car that zips up and has plenty of space for way more cds than I have and it even freakin fits my old cd holder inside even though it is just barely bigger. So perfect!!! This year my color is grass green because of that cd holder and my Busytown bag that has green accents and also my new keychain that says YOU WISH.
So yeah maybe someday I'kll write some reviews or something. This is all really just to entertain me while I am consantly experiencing spinning dizzy around the sun all day. Much like the journal I kept in the hospital. Ok I want to eat ice cream now. Love you bye.
